North Shore 2011

At the end of every year the surf industry makes its way to the North Shore of Oahu for good waves and of course to compete in the famous Vans Triple Crown of Surfing. The women did not have a Triple Crown this time around, only men. Normally I would get a slot into one of the three events, weather its trials or a wild card from Vans. So this year was much different, I had no stress, just fun. Actually I take that back, the only stress I had was trying to do Beach Interviews for the mens event (haha) but other then that

- How can this get any better? Bikini/ blue water/ Sun…. Amazing!

- Just before dark, Daniel Russo and I shot uncrouded Vland along with the rest of team Vans!

- I got a call from my team manager saying that I had left a board at the team house.. and along with it came this photo in a text message

- And this picture came a few hours later… and they thought I would do nothing with it… HA!

- Every night we would have some serious Pool matches, it got crazy.

- I love how you can get a better view of the surfing at the triple crown on TV rather then frying in the sun at the beach with a million other people.
I got to surf perfect waves every day (without a wetsuit.. YES!) and spend time with my friends from home who are attending school on Oahu. It was a great time.. Check out some of the photos!
